Manuela Košević (1999, Zadar, HR) is a visual artist and printmaker based in Vienna, Austria. In her work, she predominantly focuses on themes of comfort, refuge, and security, utilizing media ranging from hand-woven textiles to augmented reality. She graduated magna cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb with an MA in Printmaking in 2024, and BA in Printmaking in 2022. After her education she continued deepening her knowledge of printmaking techniques as an Erasmus+ intern at the printmaking studio Druckwerk Wien, where she is currently employed. She has spent two semesters in Erasmus student exchanges in Antwerp and Leipzig. She had four solo exhibitions in Croatia and has participated in over twenty group exhibitions in Croatia, Germany, Belgium and North Macedonia. She received the Rector’s Award for individual artistic work (with Anamarija Kvas) in 2023 and for a group project in 2020.
